I have been in the music business for more than 35 years. Born in London, Ontario Canada, Jim now lives in North Vancouver, BC. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with recording artists Rush; Sarah McLachlan; Honeymoon Suite; Kim Mitchell; Tom Cochrane and Red Rider; Loverboy; Bryan Adams; and many others.
I am an established musician, song writer and has played with had the pleasure of playing with local Vancouver area bands including guitar and vocals for The Disc-tractions; The Georgia Straits; 45 Spacer; The Jon Bos Band; Rock n Rodeo; The Dodgy Bits and others.
I play around Vancouver and the lower mainland doing acoustic solo shows at pubs, bars and parties and the band stays busy enough to keep it fun and upbeat.
I play Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Reverend and Ibanez electric guitars, Taylor and Yamaha acoustic guitars. Fender, Vox and Hughes & Kettner amps; Digitech, Strymon, Tech 21, Boss, Dunlop, Headrush pedalboard, QSC and Radial products
I reside in North Vancouver, BC Canada with my lovely wife Renee, a house full of dogs and thoroughly enjoy travelling, golfing, skiing, playing music, good friends, good food and good times.
I can also be found at many local Vancouver area concerts as Artist Relations rep for Radial Engineering. I also operate a small home studio called "Crescent Studios".
